TRAINING COURSES
We provide one-day training courses for tree surgeons, habitat managers, and conservationists.
The courses provide opportunities for Continuing Professional Development and training for anyone working towards a Natural England licence for bats, great crested newts, barn owls, and dormice.
Past trainees include estate managers, tree surgeons, forestry workers, arboricultural consultants, woodland managers, planning consultants, district council planners and ecologists, wildlife reserve managers, and teachers. We also provide training courses for the London Tree Officers Association.
These will all be fully assessed, and certificated courses and the cost of the full day's training is £185.

NEW FOR 2023
Dormouse Ecology and Licence Training
Training in dormouse ecology and surveying in a semi-natural ancient woodland with historic records of dormouse is available from April to October and is designed to accommodate one day beginners courses and a six day course spread over the season for those interested in obtaining a licence to survey for dormice.
One day courses in dormouse ecology cost £200. Courses for dormouse licence referencing are dependent on experience and costed individually.

HABITAT CREATION
We are experienced in habitat creation and restoration, including ponds and woodlands.
We can prepare management plans, which prescribe how to manage your site for the long-term benefit of wildlife and have completed many plans for residential and commercial development sites.
We are also experienced woodland designers and specialists in integrating woodlands with recreational activities and farming.
